Description

DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS is an insulated peel & stick membrane roll that offers sound control and a thermal break, ensuring faster warm-up times for your floor, especially over concrete. It is the only product on the market to combine insulation with peel & stick installation.

The DUO membrane roll covers 108 sq ft and provides integrated sound control, reducing impact sound transmission through floor-ceiling assemblies. It also reduces heat loss to the substrate and improves floor warming response time, making it ideal for multi-story homes, condos, and apartments.

Installation is made easier with its peel & stick feature, eliminating the need for thin-set under the mat. The membrane can be lifted and repositioned before pressure is applied, but once pressure is exerted, it firmly adheres to the substrate. Heating cables can be installed immediately after adhering the membrane to the subfloor.

This product reduces heat loss to the substrate, leading to up to 70% faster heat-up times over concrete when the floor heating thermostat activates the heating cables in DUO.

• Tile directly over DUO or pour self-leveler over the top to install alternate floor coverings such as Engineered Wood, Laminate, Luxury Vinyl Tile & Plank (LVT/LVP), Vinyl, WPC, or SPC core flooring.

Note: The Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS membrane does not comply with ANSI A118.10 requirements for load-bearing, bonded, waterproof membranes. For applications requiring compliance, select the DITRA-HEAT-DUO membrane installed with thin-set mortar, or cover DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS with Schluter®-KERDI membrane.
