This DITRA-HEAT Kit contains everything you need for a time-saving electric floor heating system installation. It includes:

– 1 Spool of DITRA-HEAT Cable (DHEHK12038) – Warms 38 sq ft
– 1 DHERT102/BW Programmable Thermostat (touchscreen)
– 2 Sensor Wires
– 7 DITRA-HEAT (DHPS5MA) PEEL & STICK Uncoupling Membrane Sheets – Covers 60 sq ft

DITRA-HEAT-PS-Membrane SHEET – Peel & Stick for Quick & Easy installation.
Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT-PS is a peel-and-stick membrane featuring a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) to bond the membrane to the substrate, eliminating the need for thin-set mortar. It offers quick and easy installation, integrating customizable electric floor warming with uncoupling, waterproofing, vapor management, and load support for a long-lasting tile installation.

Membrane installation is simplified without thin-set under the mat. Simply peel the release film off DITRA-HEAT-PS and place the membrane on the substrate. It can be lifted and re-positioned if no pressure has been applied. Once pressure is applied, the adhesive firmly sticks the membrane to the substrate. Heating cables can be installed immediately after adhering the membrane to the subfloor.

– Cables can be snapped into place wherever heat is desired, significantly reducing installation time and effort.
– For optimal performance with difficult-to-bond-to substrates, use Schluter®-PRIMER-U or another suitable primer.
– Tile directly over Ditra-Heat or pour self-leveler over the top to install alternate floor coverings like Engineered Wood, Laminate, Luxury Vinyl Tile & Plank (LVT/LVP), Vinyl, WPC, or SPC core flooring.
