Chris has been in the business for years and is a very customer service-oriented businessman. I am very glad that Chris was able to break away from his previous place of employment and start up his own business.

We have returned to Chris for our tile & flooring needs, because he is very knowledgeable and has great suggestions when it comes to picking the right design and color. His prices are also very competitive and he has actually beat the price of the same product that is carried by his competitors. He is also very quick to obtain the product you purchase.

I ordered tile for a kitchen backsplash from a tile store in Columbus, Ohio. When the installer came to install the tile, he said we needed 3x3 tiles. We called the store in Columbus and were told that there was a 3-4 week back order to get the tile. I called the distribution center for the tile manufacturer (Thank you Jessica!) and was told the tile was in stock. I asked for a store that could order the tile for me. She referred me to Chris at Bay Area Tile and Hardwood. He was awesome! He quickly checked the availability of the tile, sent me an invoice for approval and had the tile overnighted to me. Incredible Customer Service!! They store in Columbus could have done the same thing but they didn't want to take the time for a small order of 20 tiles! Thank goodness for organizations that want to provide awesome customer service!

I called Chris looking for installation/contractor help. Even though he didn't sell me anything on this job, he connected me with a contractor who helped me out of a bind. Turns out Chris also has just the flooring material I need for my upcoming remodel job. This guy is responsive and and knows his product inside and out. Will definitely come to him for my big kitchen job this fall. I'll post another review when it's done.

Stopped by the Pleasanton location, where Stephanie helped us pinpoint the quartz variety we were looking for for our new kitchen countertops. They had a bunch of samples and magazines, which helped us to quickly narrow down the style we wanted.

From there, worked with Chris to share my requirements and specs for installation. He immediately understood exactly what I was looking for and was able to offer some great suggestions that enhanced the overall project.

From there he provided a quote and connected me with a 5-star fabricator to coordinate installation. He stayed involved throughout the entire process and it worked out great in the end. I'm happy.

There's nothing but good things to say about Bay Area Tile! Chris was extremely helpful and responsive to the needs of my project. He was able to not only sell me great quality tile and quartz countertop but also connect me with a great countertop fabricator. He made the entire process from selection, purchase, pickup and installation super easy.
